I am a self-taught sculptor with no formal training just a love for bringing the countryside around me to life. I have always had a creative flair, and over the years have dabbled with pottery.
I have attended the occasional basic course and watched many a YouTube video, but never veering far from the basic shape of a hare!

I had a lovely morning delivering a few commissions. I rarely get to meet my customers so it was lovely to spend some time chatting.
I delivered this perch - a very specific commission for a fisherman. It had to be a certain colour and the fins had to be hearts. I made it 3 times - there were a few engineering problems with the fins, so it was great to finally get it right. One very happy customer too.

My fun Hazel Hare is busy drying in the sunshine. This was the first style of hare I made and I still love making it. She will be available from the lovely @canvasandclay_ellesmere Shropshire once fired and glazed.
Canvas and Clay Gallery have been with me since the very beginning and
